Brazil...here I come!
Jake finally got his Visa and is off to Brazil, but not before he got his first baptism. He baptized Brother Doyle Martin, whom Jake says is a true Mississippi southerner at heart. We are so glad that he had the privilege of serving in Mississippi and getting to know the people down there. What wonderful memories he will have of serving the first part of his mission in Mississippi. 
We were able to talk to Jake while he had a layover in Texas on his way down to Brazil. He surprised us by calling us one afternoon and we arranged it so he was able to have Lindsey skip part of volleyball practice to talk to him. He is so excited to arrive in Brazil and start speaking Portuguese...he is hoping he remembers it though.
